We are looking for a Civil & Structural Design Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.

Your responsibilities:
  • delivering concept, building permit and detailed design packages for industrial civil and structural facilities, including technical opinions and expert assessments
  • where professional licenses are held, acting in an independent technical capacity as Lead Designer or Checking Engineer, including author’s supervision during the construction process
  • performing structural and strength calculations using Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis, IDEA StatiCa, Mathcad, Excel and discipline-specific calculation tools
  • developing 3D steel structure models and generating fabrication/shop documentation
  • preparing formwork and reinforcement drawings for reinforced concrete structures

  • preparing RFQs, technical bid evaluations and technical purchase requisitions

  • planning and procurement of project-specific equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering disciplines, as well as monitoring their execution
  • managing the full procurement lifecycle, including preparation of RFQs, evaluation of offers, independent negotiation of prices and delivery terms, and preparation of purchase orders and contracts
  • preparing procurement reports and status summaries
  • conducting market analysis, developing new sources of supply domestically and internationally, and identifying procurement opportunities and cost-saving potential
  • evaluating and selecting suppliers, as well as assessing delivery and service quality
  • developing procurement strategies in close coordination with senior management

  • independently leading AI and automation projects, from requirements analysis through development and programming, to deployment and maintenance of solutions
  • building internal AI tools and systems from the ground up, including chatbots, AI assistants, database integrations and automation of technical processes
  • designing solutions based on Large Language Models (LLMs), using RAG architectures, embeddings and knowledge base integration
  • automating the processing of technical documentation and engineering data in various formats (e.g. CSV, XLS, PDF, DXF, NTL) using OCR and NLP techniques
  • programming in Python, with the ability to use VBA, C# or JavaScript for integration with engineering tools
  • close cooperation with engineering departments to identify automation opportunities and implement productivity-enhancing solutions
  • taking ownership of the overall AI strategy within the organization, including technology selection, documentation development and code repository management (Git, Docker)
What you need for this role:
